Art in the Wild
The City’s Wildest Art Gallery
On Mother’s Day, May 12th, 2013, the Valley Zoo Development Society in partnership with Edmonton Valley Zoo will once again host Art in the Wild.
On this day the Zoo will became the city’s wildest art gallery with some of the zoo’s resident artists displaying and selling their works. Proceeds of the sales will help the Valley Zoo Development Society raise funds for Nature’s Wild Backyard.
Art featured will include:
- Lucy, the Asian elephant paintings and trunk imprints (kisses)
- Hula and Makani, harbour seal paintings
- Lewis Lavoie giclee reproductions of Edmonton Valley Zoo resident animals.
