Get Up Close and Personal & Help Build Our Zoo
Labourer ($25 – $249)
Receive an official tax receipt* for the full amount of your donation, a membership to the VZDS, and optional recognition in our electronic newsletter.
Foreman ($250 – $499)
Bring the whole family to the zoo for a day, or discover the fascinating facts about one of our animals at a private behind the scenes animal encounter ** (maximum 2 people/2 hours) led by one of our ZooKeepers. Plus all Labourer benefits.
Supervisor ($500 – $999)
Let us host you and your guests (maximum 4 people/2 hours) for an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the Edmonton Valley Zoo including an animal encounter led by one of our ZooKeepers, and be invited to our annual Zoo Builders Reception with the VZDS Board, Zoo staff, our sponsors and supporters and other supporters. Plus all Labourer benefits.
Developer ($1,000 – $1,499)
Become a ZooKeeper for a day. Make all the regular rounds with an official Valley Zoo Zookeeper, including lunch. Join us at the Zoo Builders reception with the VZDS Board, zoo staff, our sponsors and other supporters. You’ll also be able to choose either two tickets to ZooFest or Art in the Wild! Plus all Labourer benefits.
Lemur ($1,500 – $2,499)
Have a very special animal encounter with Lucy the Asian Elephant as she paints one of her masterpieces specifically for you. Includes an annual family pass for the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Alternatively you could become a veterinarian for the day and spend an entire day behind the scenes with the Edmonton Valley Zoo’s resident Veterinarian Dr. Milton Ness. Plus all Labourer benefits.
Red Panda ($2,500 – $4,999)
Let the VZDS and the Edmonton Valley Zoo host you and your guests (Maximum 60 people) at a private reception in the newly constructed private lounge (Fall 2013). Have your guests watch as Lucy the Asian Elephant paints one of her masterpieces specifically for you. Plus all Labourer benefits.
Arctic Wolf ($5,000 – $4,999)
Have the travelling zoo come to your office, residence of school of your choice. Receive a behind the scenes tours of the construction of the new phases of the zoo. Plus all Lemur benefits.
Amur Tiger ($10,000 and up+)
There are so many ways we can thank you! For instance, permanent recognition at the facility or a newly constructed exhibit. Plus all Lemur benefits.
